Mrs A. S. - Holidaying in Charente-Maritime - Property ref. SA17 - August 2015

Hi Christine,
Thanks for your email. We had a great holiday thanks, the house we stayed in was lovely, all the rooms had plenty of space and beautiful decor throughout. We arrived on the Saturday evening, a bit late unfortunately as it took longer to get there than we expected. C. met us and took us through house, her English was better than my French fortunately.

The house was in a lovely position, on the edge of the village and near some picturesque countryside and oyster beds. There was a lovely accessible walk to the river, we walked there a couple of times in the evening when it had cooled down a bit. The weather was very hot all week, perfect!

C. and her family were very friendly, they only lived next door but left us to enjoy our holiday, but if there had been a problem they were only a short distance away, but the week went really well and too quickly! We spent many an evening outside stargazing from the very comfortable loungers, glass of wine in hand, idyllic really!

Hope this review is helpful, am sure you will hear from us in the future for another holiday.

Kind regards

Mr K. L. - Holidaying in Vendée - Property ref. XC85 - July 2015

Hi Christine,
We all had a very good time, except for the 2.5 hour delay in Dover thats why we was later getting there, the place was great very roomy very clean the beds were comfortable nice clean sheets and towels and a lovely welcome pack. The guy who owned it was very helpful.

Very nice garden and bbq; we over came the english tv we took my laptop and projector.

There was a lovely man made beach just 10 minutes walk down the road very well priced a great day out for all the family boats swimming and ice creams.
There is a very big hyper U just 15 minutes drive to Fontenay where you can get everything you want including fuel.

On the whole I would recommend the property, the owner was charming and very helpful we did thank him but if you could say it again for us when you send your report that would be nice.

Thank you for all of your help Christine

Many many thanks Keith and all the family

Dr M. S - Holidaying in Burgundy - Property ref. LC71 - June 2015

Dear Christine

I had been meaning to write to you.  we had a lovely holiday thank you.  the Gite was very good indeed. well adapted for me with a good wet room and they had raised the bed perfectly for me. It is very well equipped and the garden is fine with eating areas. We love the Area. Isabelle was very helpful but we had no problems.

We spent some in the wine villages and Beaune and found good restaurants. Pierre et Jean in Chagny  is good and we went to the Michelin one star restaurant le Montrachet in Puligny Montrachet.

We are discussing whether to try t0o book the same place next year but I will ask you whether you have anything as good!

Best wishes

Hi Christine

The holiday was fantastic thank you, we all had a really lovely time.

The location was perfect, very tranquil and beautiful and the house was just right and safe for my mother.

Thank you for all your help with the bed etc.

I will definitely book with you again if my mother is still able to travel.

Kind regards

Mrs B. W. - Holidaying in Dordogne - Property ref. DS24 - August 2014

Dear Christine,

What a great week!  We really enjoyed our stay  at 'Teresa and Alan's place' and they couldn't do enough for us.  My bed was a perfect height!  It really is a great complex for both disabled and children and we didn't see the boys all week!  It also helped that we had a great mix of guests and we all got on so well.   Even the bbq in the rain was a laugh!

I would not hesitate to recommend you all to anyone who wants a trouble-free holiday with extremely nice, helpful and obliging people.  Here's to next year!

Very best wishes and I hope your holiday is as good.

Mrs K. C. - Holidaying in Brittany - Property ref. PU22 - June 2014

Please thank R. and S. for a wonderful gite and their kind generosity.  We will definitely be spreading the word to our friends.

Best wishes and will be looking at your website for next year!!

It has been a week now since we returned from our trip to France, and just a quick note to say thank you so very much for organising our holiday in such a professional, friendly and helpful manner.

Please also extend our thanks to C., X. and the F. Family for their warm welcomes and exceptional properties.
We would also like to take the opportunity to say how fantastically well equipped/adapted both properties were.

We are already starting to plan next year’s holiday and would have no hesitation recommending your company to others.

Mr & Mrs F. and their son - Autism friendly stopover in northern France - Aug. 2013

Hi Christine,

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you very much for finding this B&B for us. We had a wonderful holiday!

Both E. and her husband, were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.

On both occasions we were delayed (we did not arrive until 11.30 pm on Friday due to awful traffic around Paris) but they were very understanding  and it really didn't seem to be a problem.

T. was very settled and happy and slept well on both nights. We were able to stay for breakfast as there were no other guests which was lovely and T. particularly loved their home-made bread in the morning!

I can't thank you enough - it's been years since we've dared take T. so far but thanks to this lovely B&B he was able to enjoy a fabulous holiday in the South of France.

We definitely intend to use this site again next year (I will book it through you) and are already wondering where to take T. next!

Many, many thanks,

Mr G. (UK) - Wheelchair accessible hotel stay on the Côte d'Azur - April 2013

Mr A. and Mrs A. – Wheelchair accessible luxury short break in Paris – Oct. 2012

Yes, everything regards the hotel and transport was fine. No hassles. The hotel is well appointed regards disabled facilities and the taxi driver (afraid I can't remember his name) knew what he was doing and always strapped me in etc.
… the trip was fine and met my expectations.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Mrs S. and Mrs D. - Wheelchair friendly touring holiday in Brittany, the south west and the Loire valley – Sept. to Oct. 2012

Dear Christine

Hope you are well – at last, here is some feedback on our recent holiday in France.

Firstly your service was A1! From beginning to end you were amazing – very thorough and professional about everything and when we had our problems you were a real guardian angel! Nick felt very relaxed and secure with your service at all times as we knew that everything would be in place as we moved around.

Many thanks Christine! Everything is so well organised by you - we are very grateful and it is very re-assuring for us.

Mr M. and friends – Wheelchair accessible short break in Franche-Comte, north east France – August. 2012.

Dear Ms Christine

Just to say thank you very much for your time and effort for everything...........We had a great time.

Mr and Mrs D. and family – Wheelchair friendly holiday in Brittany – August 2012.

Dear Christine,

Just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time in B. The property was great and the owners were really friendly and helpful. The electric bed was very helpful and made life easier.  J-F and R-L. invited us to aperitifs and took E. to see some cows… which was very much beyond the call of duty.

We have found booking through Bespoke France a really great experience. Thank you.

Best Wishes

Mr & Mrs V. and family – Autism friendly holiday in the Charente, August 2012

Both M. and D. (accommodation owners) were really welcoming as were all the occupants in the other gites. All the children got on well with the 2nd week being all boys and all around the same age-fantastic. Joey had the best "boys" holiday ever just play, play, play and more play!! Archie within a very short period of time relaxed fully and he appeared to have a wonderful time.

We didn't need to go further afield as both the boys were happy just playing and swimming on site. However, we did participate in kayaking (nearby) and had an amazing fun filled time. The staff was very accommodating towards A. and their disabled toilet facilities were wonderfully clean and top notch!! Also… it was amazing value for money.

There's a lot more I could say, but I think I'll end by stating that the holiday was a success. We achieved what we set out to do; getting A. on a plane and on holiday with everyone else. I know flying will not be an issue now so therefore the world has opened up for us. Thank you for guiding me through the process. I couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you for your support and understanding

Mrs W. and family – Wheelchair accessible holiday in Pas-de-Calais - July 2012

Hi Christine

Thank you so much for all the work that you must have put in . Our holiday went without a single hitch, and we were all delighted . TOP MARKS FOR THE ACCOMMODATION. The owners were wonderful, the location relaxing and very close to a host of interesting sights. We are all very pleased, especially my husband, as everything was smooth and easy going for him.
Many, many thanks once again.

Kind regards

Mr and Mrs S. – Wheelchair accessible holiday on the south west Atlantic coast - June 2012

Thank you… for providing such an accessible and comfortable gite. The owner of the accommodation have given a lot of thought in making the gite wheelchair friendly.  As a T8 paraplegic it certainly ticked all the boxes as to my comfort and needs. Together, the gite, sun and beaches made it a really enjoyable holiday. I'm sure that anyone else staying there would find it as enjoyable as we have.

Mrs S. - Wheelchair accessible and learning difficulties friendly short break in Lille, Northern France - June 2012

Hi Chris

I just want to say thank you as this holiday was really enjoyable for J. and A. I think they had a great great time!

Mr and Mrs D. - Wheelchair accessible hotel break - Aix-en-Provence -  September 2011

Thanks to you our holiday in Aix was perfect, the transfers were punctual with excellent vehicles and hotel was a very high standard with problem free access both into and around the hotel and within the room itself. The wheelchair delivery and pick-up was fine and P. made use of both her electric chair and the manual one which provided us with good flexibility.

Most days we spent in Aix and found, once we had worked out the routes, it an excellent place for wheelchair users. Using the manual chair we did the city tour by train where the lady driver was of great help loading the chair and assisting P. As you know, we visited Cassis. An excellent day including the boat trip. The taxi driver again was excellent waiting for us and being very flexible on where we went.

And all this is bearing in mind that I spent 30 years working in quality assurance which makes me very critical!

Thanks again and we shall definitely consider using you again and will recommend your services to others.

No plans yet but could consider Geneva area as we can fly there from Bristol

kind regards

Mrs H. and family – Wheelchair accessible holiday on the Cote d’Azur - August 2011

Dear Chris

I am now back at work and was about to fill in the feedback form, but it seemed to be an entirely inadequate way to express my thanks. We had the best holiday we have had in years, thanks to you. With none of the usual hassle and battles we usually have when travelling with Leo.

You have been so professional and so very patient, and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble.

I shall be recommending you to everyone I can think of, staring with the PTA at my son’s school.

Thanks again

Mr and Mrs D. and their son - Handiski holiday - French Alps - April 2011

Dear Christine,

I can't thank you enough for arranging all this for us - there is no way we could have come up with it all ourselves, and M. had such a great time.

C. and J-C (chalet-gite owners) were charming and so helpful with everything despite my embarrassingly bad French!

The accommodation was all that we needed, and our ski instructor, J-M was brilliant, spoke good English and was so great with M. and concerned to make sure everything was right for him. SO, once again, many, many thanks for making it all possible.

I put on our feedback form that we would be interested in other holiday options for the summer (but in the future, not 2011/2012). The easiest crossing route for us is to Cherbourg and we wouldn't want to drive more than 2 hrs. It was if you happen to know of anywhere we could bear in mind for the future.

Kind regards,
M. D.
